Ashley Rowe

Ash was born in Middlesbrough, in the North East of England. He has lived in the Tollesby (near Acklam) area of Middlesbrough almost all his life. When he was 18, he moved out to live in Newcastle-upon-Tyne for three years whilst studying at University, but after graduating returned home. He’s a proud supporter of Middlesbrough F.C., and has already purchased his season ticket for the upcoming season. He also enjoys movies, favourites include The Hangover and Shawshank Redemption, and going out to socialise with friends on a weekend.

Education
In July 2007, Ash finished 7 years of secondary school and sixth form college at Macmillan Academy in Middlesbrough. He has 3 A-Levels (Computing Electronics and Physics) and 10 GCSE’s including Maths, English and Science. After college, he went on to study a Computer Science degree at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in 2010.

Employment History
In August 2010, after finishing university, Ash had a work experience placement at VIA Creative, one of the leading graphic design agencies in the region. He worked here for free for six weeks, until he was given an internship by the University of Teesside at another web development company, APD IT Solutions, based in the Middlesbrough town centre.
He worked at APD IT Solutions for ten weeks, and is still registered as an on-call freelancer for the company, if ever they need him. He is also registered as a freelancer on a number of online community websites, such as freelancer.com. He has a 100% feedback rating, and has completed projects for companies all over the world.

In March 2011, Ashley joined Tempest Media Ltd as the Head of Development, his work can be found in our Portfolio.
